WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE

One of the best things about being educators is being able to get to know our students. So let us share a little about ourselves.

ANTONIO RADA

Antonio received a Bachelor of Economics at ITAM, Bachelor of Philosophy at UNAM, a Masters in Direction and Management for the Quality of Educational Centers at UFV in Spain.

Since 2007 Antonio has directed the TeleGenio Foundation A.C. an association that seeks to help identify, attend and disseminate the talent in Mexico of gifted children and young people. Among his greatest achievements was advising on the modification to article 41 of the General Education Law in the Senate of the Republic that was approved and has been in force since 2009.

Antonio Rada was also president of MENSA Mexico in 2007 and is a member of a dozen international societies of people with high IQ, which is why he has realized the importance of doing something with intelligence (beyond measuring it) and doing it from the heart.

NICTÉ WHIGHAM

Nicté (Nicky) has deep background in childhood education and learning, specializing in gifted students. Born in Oaxaca, Mexico she spent six years as a special education teacher in Mexico City. Nicté holds a Masters Degree in Psychopedagogy (the study of how humans learn and retain knowledge) from the University of Barcelona in Spain. Her Masters thesis was focused on childhood geniuses and high potential youth. Additionally Nicté holds a Certificate in Neuroscience from the Association for Education & Human Development in Argentina. She is fluent in both Spanish and English.

WHY DO WE TEACH?

Antonio and Nicté are two people who believe that every child can be gifted, no matter where they start. They think that if a child is taught how to think in a certain way, they can reach their maximum potential. They don't believe that being gifted is something you are just born with.

Instead, Antonio and Nicté believe that with the right kind of teaching and training, any child can develop the skills and abilities that are usually associated with giftedness. They believe that this kind of teaching should focus on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.

In their view, these skills are something you can learn and practice. They believe that children can be taught to think more deeply, analyze problems from different angles, and come up with creative solutions.

Antonio and Nicté see every child as having the potential to be gifted, regardless of their starting point. They believe that with the right kind of teaching and guidance, every child can reach their maximum potential and achieve great things.
